Short Description
Measures
2 x (pair) slim floating bedside table with sliding tray, made from solid oak. A completely new and unique bedside table concept, purist and without anything superfluous. Deliberately without drawers, as their walls waste unnecessary space and hide unneeded things.
Filigree 4 mm edges through internally beveled walls, the walls under the bevel are made of 12 mm solid oak. Floors are made of 5 mm birch plywood, with fine oak veneer on both sides. Treated with allergy-friendly hard wax oil.
Unless otherwise requested, the pair of bedside tables (with dividers) will be made mirrored, one with the dividers on the left and one on the right.
Without screws, without metal, only from wood, handmade in forty different processes.
Fully assembled, screws and wall anchors are included. Floating wall mounting with two screws on which the floating bedside table is hung. A firmly connected wall adapter made of oak creates a distance of 19 mm to the wall. This makes the bedside table appear even more floating. Cables can also be routed behind the bedside table; the wall adapter is three centimeters back on both sides.
Our designs are based on the Japanese 5S principle - provide exactly as much space as necessary - no less and, above all, no more. They create order in style.
Handcrafted in Berlin. Wood is a renewable raw material and biodegradable. CO2 is bound as trees grow. Only local oak is used.

1. What are the dimensions of an MBK12 bedside table?
The standard MBK12 bedside tables have a length of 36 cm, a width/depth of 26 cm and a height of 11.5 cm. Due to their narrow width, they are also ideal for small bedrooms and even fit into small niches.
2. Should a bedside table be higher or lower than a bed?
A bedside table should be about as high as the mattress of the bed. This makes it possible to put things on and pick them up again comfortably while lying down without any effort. put it on the cupboard and take it away again. If the floating bedside table is placed higher than the bed, there is a risk of bumping into yourself. If the bedside table is placed too low, you may no longer be able to reach the shelf properly.
3. Which bedside table goes with a box spring bed?
Box spring beds, including the mattress, have a lying height of at least 60 cm. The floating bedside table should be installed at least at this height.
4. What can be stored in the MBK12 floating nightstand models?
The floating bedside tables by MBK12 are minimalist and have no drawers. The storage space is therefore limited, but can be cleverly subdivided with various extensions in order to create a system of order.
